Refractive lens exchange might be appropriate if you are in the early stages of presbyopia and developing cataracts. This time is estimated between 45 and 60 years old. At this age, due to presbyopia and early cataract development, there are limited vision correction options, but RLE has emerged as a successful option.

We offer decades of experience and are considered Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) experts using only the latest technology combined with a suite of advanced technology implants designed to help our patients see at multiple distances. In 2001, Dr. Dell performed a series of operations using special intraocular lenses that could focus both at a distance and near. This FDA-sponsored clinical research led to full FDA approval of the first of these lenses in 2003. At Dell Laser Consultants we refer to these special implant lenses as Full Focus® intraocular lenses.
Our eye surgeons will sit down with you and customize your vision plan for the rest of your life. They will discuss your specific visual system and what lens implant would suit you best. Even if you have astigmatism, we have advanced technology lens implants to correct near, far and intermediate vision, along with astigmatism.

At Dell Laser Consultants we will work with you through your consultation to determine the procedure that is the best fit for you.
