Through his research, Dr. Dell is able to provide the most advanced technology to his patients, sometimes years before it is available elsewhere.
Dr. Dell’s research for the FDA has helped bring new laser treatment approvals to the US, and his continued work in the development and refinement of new surgical instruments and devices has been the subject of numerous articles and lectures. Dozens of externs have traveled to Austin to take advantage of this opportunity. Dr. Dell has also personally trained several hundred eye surgeons from around the country in his surgical techniques. In fact, if your eye doctor practices in Austin, odds are high that your doctor trained with Dr. Dell. And while you will often see observers following Dr. Dell in surgery and in the office, you can rest assured that every single surgical procedure is personally performed by Dr. Dell.
Eye doctors have unique inside knowledge of the capabilities of all the surgeons in the Austin area. Perhaps it comes as no surprise that more Central Texas eye doctors have chosen Dr. Dell for their own eye surgery than any other surgeon. Dr. Dell has also operated on a variety of other physicians, current and former professional athletes, nationally known celebrities and politicians.
